Kenneth Duane Watson was the youngest of three boys born to Orville and Irma Neita Brown Watson. He grew up in Vicksburg, Michigan and dropped out of high school to join the Army. He was a private in the Quartermaster Corps and served in Korea. He finished high school when he got out of the service.

On 18 May 1956 he married Goldie Alice Butler and they had two children, David Duane and Dawn Vilena.

Kenny was a big, burly man like his father and brothers. He was loud and boisterous and the kind of guy who would give anyone the shirt off his back.

He died suddenly of a heart attack at the young age of 39.

He was buried on 16 Jan 1970.
