Marshall C. Griffin, Estesburg Road, Eubank, died Friday March 31, 1995, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was 84.

Born Jan. 2, 1911, in Eubank, he was the son of the late Mack Newell and Nannie B. Surber Griffin. He was a retired Extension Agent for Laurel County and earned a Bachelors degree from the University of Kentucky. He was a member of the Eubank Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Iona Adams Griffin, whom he married Dec. 24, 1938; a son, Craig (and Norma Jean) Griffin, Somerset; two daughters, Sherry (and Donald) Ratliff, Republic of Panama, and Beth (and David) Overton, Mobile, Ala.; and six grandchildren, Jeanna Michelle Griffin, Somerset, Elizabeth Anne Congdon, Buffalo, N.Y., Emily Jane and Heidi Marie Ratliff, both of Tallahassee, Fla., James Craig Griffin II, Kansas City, Mo., and James Marshall Overton, Mobile, Ala.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Morris and Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Carter officiating. Burial followed in Eubank Cemetery.
