Henry Charles Courtway, 65, St. Clair, passed away Aug. 6, 2008, in Sullivan.

Mr. Courtway was born Nov. 24, 1942, in Richwoods, the son of Raymond Courtway and Corine Courtway, nee Courtway.

He was united in marriage April 10, 1965, to Donna Ray Whitworth.

Mr. Courtway worked at Fraiser Shoe and Brown Shoe Company, both in Union, and Eaton Inc., Washington.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Mike, Clarence, Joe and David Courtway; and two sisters, Mildred Fox and Lorna Revelle.

Mr. Courtway is survived by his wife; two sons, David Scott Courtway and wife Robin, Qulin, and Richard Courtway and wife Becky, Cuba, Mo.; one daughter, Vicki Eckert, Leasburg; four brothers, Raymond "Shorty" Courtway and wife Lorraine, Union, Felix "Bill" Courtway and wife Lucy, Leasburg, Clyde Courtway, St. Clair, and Lawrence Courtway, Cuba, Mo.; three sisters, Geraldine Briggs, Beaufort, Mary Turntine, Bourbon, and Joyce Tadaro and husband Tony, Union; one former son-in-law, Richard Eckert Jr., St. Clair; 10 grandchildren; two brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law; nieces; nephews; great- and great-great nieces and -nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 9, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair, with the Rev. Haskel Bridgeman officiating.

Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Lonedell.
