Mrs. Orlenia Baker, 82, of Denison, died Sunday at Onega Community Hospital where she was admitted December 8. She was the mother of Mrs. Rando Wegner of Onaga.
She was born August 20, 1891 at Drury, Mo. And lived in Jackson County 42 years, making her home in Denison the last eight years. She was a member of the First Christian Church at Holton.
Besides the daughter here, Mrs. Baker is survived by four other daughters, Mrs. Dolly Grace Leach and Mrs. Edith Cress, both of Holton, Mrs. Ruby Alice Branam, Denison, and Mrs. Vernia Thompson, Bartlesville, Okla.; two sons, Arley J. Baker, Woodbine, and Ernest R. Baker, Eugene, Ore.; three sisters, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church in Holton with interment in the Holton cemetery.
