The service was in charge of the pastor, Rev. Floyd Bash, assisted by a double mixed quartet. A large delegation from the Yeoman lodge attended in a body. The floral offerings were abundant and beautiful.
Margaret Ellen Townsend was born in Nodaway County, Mo., November 27, 1874; she died at her home in Sheridan, Wyo., July 4, 1912, aged 37 years, 7 months and 8 days. She came with her parents to Sheridan County in 1889. In 1892, she married to J.S. Addleman. Five children were born; Myrtle, Gladys, Doris, Carl and Baby Lawrence, only four weeks old.
Aside from the home circle, she leaves to mourn her loss her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. John Townsend of Sheridan; two brothers, George of Alaska and William of Newport, Wash.; six sisters, Mrs. Leach and Mrs. Kraut of Sheridan; Mrs. Stringer of Pacific Junction, Iowa; Mrs. Crawford of Lincoln, Kan.; Mrs. Wickson of Kaley, Canada, and Mrs. R.L. Addleman of Eugene, Oregon., T.L. Addleman of St. Joseph, Mo., came to attend the funeral.
About 12 years ago Mrs. Addleman united with the Christian church and lived a faithful Christian life. She was also a member of the local Yeoman lodge. Burial was in Mount Hope cemetery.
