Mr. Pond was born in West Liberty, Ia., February 5, 1903. He married Mildred Graham, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Iva Pond of Davenport, and several nieces and nephews.
He was a retired merchandising executive with the Spiegel Company in Chicago.
Rev. Robert Spencer officiated and Bouton-Hammitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
