James L. Smith, 78, of Andalusia, died Sunday, March 3, 2002 in an Andalusia hospital.
A veteran of WWII, he was the Registrar at LBW Junior College before his retirement.
A funeral will be held Wednesday, March 6 at 10:30 a.m. at Foreman Funeral Home with Rev. Janet Looby officiating. Music provided by Steve Hubbard, organist. Burial will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Smith of Andalusia; a daughter, Jennifer Smith; a son, Thomas M. Smith, both of Washington, D.C.; and five nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Bill Clark, Jerry Padgett, Fred Winkler, Eric Lidh, Dr. Jim Krudop and Fletcher Jones.
