John Leslie, 51, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, after a six-year battle with bladder cancer.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Christian Bible Church, 4936 E I-20, Willow Park. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Leslie home, 1452 Woodridge, Aledo. John's body was donated to UT Southwestern Medical Center's Willed Body Program in hopes of one day finding a cure for bladder cancer.
John Leslie was born Sept. 27, 1956.
Survivors: His wife of 22 years, Cheryl; and his daughters, Kate and Susan of Aledo.
