Mr. Ralph Lawrence Hill, 71, of 802 E. Main Street, died on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Morehead Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, October 3, 2008 at Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Elbert Paschal officiating.
Mr. Hill was born on December 13, l936 in Rockingham County, the son of the late Jesse B. Hill and Mildred Smith Hill of Stoneville. He was retired from Fieldcrest Mills and attended First Assembly of God in Eden.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald R. Hill and Jessie Junior Hill.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Barbara Moorefield Hill of the home; children, Susan Cardwell of Jamestown, Denisa Harvey (Tim) of Greensboro, Ralph Lawrence Hill, Jr. (Tommianne) of Reidsville, Debbie Whitlow (Paige) of Spencer, VA, Steve Hill (Shea Casper) and Christopher Hill (Gloria) all of Stoneville, and Cindy Hill (Clay Stilley) of Greenville; sister, Margie Fayne of Stoneville; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7:00pm until 9:00pm, Thursday, October 2, 2008 at the funeral home and all other times at the residence.
