MEMPHIS, Feb 9 (Special) -- Funeral services were held at the Womack Funeral Chapel here for Stephen Andrew Welch, 58 years old, who died Saturday at his home in Lakeview Community. Rev. Lee Griffin of Memphis officiated. Burial was in the Lakeview Cemetery Sunday.
Survivors include the wife, Mrs. Rae Welch; five sons, Charlie of Wichita Falls, Norbert and Robert Lee, both in the Army in Germany; Eugene of Levelland and Kenneth of Madera, Cal.; one daughter, Mrs. Charlene Haddock of Madera, Cal.; his father, Stephen Lee Welch of Mississippi; a sister, Mrs. Mattie Mae Weeks of California and a half-brother, George Carter, of Memphis.
Pall-bearers were: Roy Rea, Paul McCanne, Ed Hillhouse, Zipp Duratt, Charlie Crozier and Joe Barnett.
