Rhoda's granddaughter, Frieda (Philpott) Morse (1924-2006), was the source for Rhoda's middle name. August 23 is the day of birth on her death record (it is August 29 on her headstone). Rhoda married her first husband, Joe Shoopman, on May 16, 1903, in Anderson County, Tennessee; and her second husband, Joe Endres, on January 2, 1941, in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Rhoda and Joe Shoopman's children were as follows: 1) Alice (Shoopman) Philpott (1904-1925), Oakland Cemetery, Clarksville, Arkansas; 2) Orville Shoopman (1905-1923), Oakland Cemetery; 3) Arona (Shoopman) Trenkle/McKelly (1909-1992), Lakewood Memorial Park, Modesto, California; 4) L. Joanna (Shoopman) Crofut/Mabry (1911-1991), cremated; 5) Charles Shoopman (1913-1974), Lakewood Memorial Park; and 6) Mary Aletha (Shoopman) Plaster/Hadley (1916-1980), cremated. According to her niece Mellie Bunch (1909-2006), Rhoda also lost an infant prematurely.
