Hubert W. Masson of Burr Ridge died Monday, Feb. 27, at Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital. Mr. Masson, 93, was born Sept. 8, 1912, in Chicago. He was an insurance agent for Penn Mutual Life Insurance Co. for 43 years until his retirement. He was former president of the Retired Men's Association. Mr. Masson was a World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, nee Kenny. Mr. Masson is survived by his sons, Jim (Gerri) and Dan (Xenia Vieth); his grandchildren, Jim, Erin (John) Kane, Kate and Jeff; his great-grandchildren, Meghan, Peter and Emma; his brother, Henry Masson; and his sister, Lucille Kappler. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until a Mass at 10 a.m. today, Thursday, March 3, at St. Isaac Jogues Church, 306 W. Fourth St., Hinsdale. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Evergreen Park.
