He was a 1972 graduate of South Umpqua High School in Myrtle Creek, Oregon.
Hells Canyon Journal, May 15, 1985 issue has the story about Keith's death. The journal is printed in Halfway, Oregon. Keith, tragically, fell from a road, 80 feet, onto some rocks, and into the Snake River.
