Funeral services will be Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Slater, with Rev. Robert Sisney officiating. Bethany Weiker, organist, will play "How Great Thou Art," "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Victory in Jesus." Burial will be in Slater City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shay Audsley, Sammy Krog, Tony Suarez, Jim Murdock, David Jones and Wayne Heuman. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Palmer, Daniel Crumbaugh, Stacey Haynes and Clay Vogl. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the church. Memorials are suggested to a fund established for the education of her grandchildren in care of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.
Born Oct. 25, 1944, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late William E. Stoufer Jr. and Erma Graham Stoufer. On Jan. 11, 1964, in Gilliam, she married Kenneth T. Butcher, who survives of the home. She was a member and former trustee of First Baptist Church in Slater. She was also a member of the Quilter's Guild in Marshall. She was a licensed beautician and had owned and operated Sharon's Beauty Shop in Slater the past 44 years.
Also surviving are three daughters, Monica Morris and her husband, Doug, of Fort Collins, Colo., Angela Gochenour and her husband, Joey, of Slater and Kendra Butcher of St. Louis; one grandson, Benjamin Aaron Gochenour; and two step-grandchildren, Craig Gochenour and Hannah Gochenour.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Stoufer and an infant, Edward Stoufer.
