Florence Kathlyn Coffee went to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 5, 2006. She was born on September 17, 1919 in Wirt, Oklahoma to James and Mowatte Browning. She married Clarence Lee Coffee on December 3, 1938. In 1945, they built the house in which they still live, in Oklahoma City, where all were welcome and made to feel at home. They enjoyed going 'to the lake' camping, fishing and hunting, especially with friends and family. Florence had a strong faith in the Lord and had been an active member of the Wilmont Place Baptist Church since 1945, teaching Sunday school, a member of WMU and the Alice Pettigrew class. Florence is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, a grandson and 2 sons-in-law. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Clarence; sisters: Ima Jean Bandy, Laura Mashore, brother Ray Browning and sister-in-law Vera, brother-in-law W.E. Coffee and sister-in-law Beverly Cook; daughters, Betty Massie and Dorothy Barnes and son-in-law Frosty Barnes; 4 grandchildren: Ricky Barnes, Kelly Whitaker and husband Bruce, Alan Barnes and wife Sheri, Sherry Kueteman and husband Karl; 9 great grandchildren: Zac, Ali, Sara, Jason, Michael, Andrea, Kali, Brittany and Matthew; many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors. Florence was loved by all, for her many Christian qualities and kind heartedness. She will be greatly missed. The service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at Wilmont Place Baptist Church.
