Louisa is the second child of seven born in Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory, USA to Louis and Lydia.

On 11 Apr 1908, she married Edgar R Hill and issued four children (Nina, Floyd, Louis and Opal) before he died.

She married Mr. McAlister and issued one child (Luther) before he died.

"MRS. M'ALISTER'S SERVICES SLATED

"Mrs. Louise McAlister, 71, of 1510 W. Admiral St., a Tulsa resident since 1920, died Sunday in a Tulsa hospital.

"A native of Muskogee, Mrs. McAlister came to Tulsa from Decatur, Ill., she was a member of the American Indian Federation, and an active member of the Home Gardens Pentecostal Church. She had preached in the county and city jails here and in the state prison at McAlester.

"Surviving are three sons, Luther McAlister, 1435 N. Phoenix Ave.; Louis R, Hill, 2145 S. Memorial Drive; two daughters, Mrs. Nina Maimbourgh, 527 S. 57th West Ave., and Mrs. Opal Franley, Los Angeles; a brother, L. V. Bruere, 1332 E. 66th Place South; two sisters, Mrs. E, T. Anderton, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Clarenda Merritt, Winston, Ore.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

"Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Tulsa-Whisenhunt Funeral Home chapel, Interment will be in Wofford Cemetery near Catoosa."
