Mr. Garey was a cook at the Blue Coat Inn for 14 years leaving there in 1992 because of a disability.
He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Frederica.
Mr. Garey's greatest joy in life was cooking.
He is survived by his sister, Kay Robutka of Frederica, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
