Mr. Glen Simington, age 89, of Moose Jaw, and formerly of Kincaid, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 13, 2008 with his family by his side.

Glen was born January 2, 1919 on the family farm in the Kincaid district. He was an active young man who enjoyed playing hockey and baseball. Glen served with the Air Force for 4 1/2 years during WWII. He married Leone Batdorf on September 18, 1946 and they operated the family farm for 48 years. Glen was also a repairman for the Ferland Rural Telephone Company for many years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, the Masons and enjoyed travelling, bowling, playing cards, and doing puzzles.

Predeceased by his parents and one brother, Glen is survived by his wife of 61 years, Leone; sons: Erroll (Ruth), Gerry (Linda), and daughter, Gaylynn (Lou) Bouvier; grandchildren: Nathan (Larisa), Jane, Krista, Geoff, Tyler, Matthew and Shelly; and one great-grandson, Adrian.

Memorial Service held at W.J. Jones & Son Chapel on Wednesday January 16, 2008.
