Marie K. Danielson, age 83, of Sparta, WI, passed away on Monday September 29, 2008, at the Rolling Hills Rehab Center in Sparta.
Marie was born on March 17, 1925, to John and Louise (Bezpaletz) Kotek, at the home in the town of Bangor, WI. She married Bernhard Danielson on January 24, 1946 and together they had 12 children.
She is survived by her children, John Danielson, Kathryn (Clinton) Culpitt, Mary (Steven) Evans, all of Sparta, WI, William (Leatta) Danielson of Ennis, MT, Margaret (Larry) Coleman of Sparta, WI, Michael Danielson of Sparta, WI, Charles (Jackie) Danielson of Wellford, SC, Paul Danielson, Ronald Danielson and Edward (Susan) Danielson all of Sparta, WI; 24 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Roman (Rita) Kotek, a sister, Agnes (Leo) Bouska all of Bangor, WI; two daughters–in-law, Jill Danielson and Patty Dannick both of Sparta, WI; along with many nieces nephews and friends.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bernhard who passed away in March of 1983; two sons, Thomas and James Danielson, one grandson, Wyatt Danielson; and an infant brother, John Kotek.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 3, 2008, 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sparta, WI. Father James Leary O.F.M. Cap will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Thursday, October 2, 2008, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at the Torkelson Page-Smith Funeral Home in Sparta, WI.
