Mr. Rector died October 6, 2008 at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN. He was born February 16,1916 in Overton County to the late Martin and Flora Allen Rector. He was a truck driver for the Overton County Highway Dept.
He was a Baptist.
He is survived by a sister, Elise Taylor of Livingston; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wives: Virgie May Phillips Rector and Dora Lawson Rector, daughter: Wilma Jean Rector Morris, sisters: Audie Breeding, Lizzie Bilbrey, and Opal Brady, and brothers, Arthur Rector, Wiley Rector, and Junior Rector.
Funeral services for Mr. Ernest Buford Rector, age 92, of Hilham will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 9 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home, Livingston with Bro. Dewey Glenn Masters officiating. Burial will be in Allens Chapel Cemetery, Hilham, TN.
