Mr. Garrison retired in 1934 after being employed at McCaskey's for 33 years. His father was formerly postmaster of Freedom, a small village later taken into Alliance. He was the son of John and Anna Garrison and his father was postmaster of Freedom, a village which later was incorporated into Alliance.
Mr. Garrison was a member of Conrad Lodge 219, A. and F. M., the Scottish Rites in Canton, and Al Koran Temple and the First Methodist Church where he was a member of Judge W. L. Hart's Sunday School class. He is survived by his wife Lillian.
