Aged Resident Dies Suddenly - Mrs. Emma Jane Crissey, aged 67 years, was found dead in bed at the home of her son-in-law, Henry Roundtree, 1604 South Pasfield street, early yesterday morning.
According to a statement made by Mr. Rountree to Coroner Rhodes, Mrs. Crissey had been in ill health for four or five years. For the past few months, however, she had been feeling somewhat better, Mr. Roundtree stated. Mrs. Crissey was not feeling well the night before. An inquest will be held today.
Mrs. Crissey was born Dec. 22, 1894 (sic), at Pittsburg, Pa. Her husband, who was a Civil war veteran, died at the Soldiers' Home in Quincy in February of this year. Since that time Mrs. Crissey has been living with her daughter here.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Henry Roundtree, Miss Florence Crissey of this city, Mrs. Mary Henze of Tacoma, Wash.; one son, Warren Crissey of Jacksonville; one sister, Mrs. Anna Fleming of Williamsville; fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at the undertaking parlors of E. P. Metcalf in South Fifth street, Rev. T. N. Ewing, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Ridge cemetery.
