A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. for Jane Ward, who died on October 16, 2003, Jane's Memories . She fought a long, difficult battle with cancer but is now at rest with Jesus, as death is only the start of her journey.
A native of California. She worked for United Airlines as Maintenance Instructor, Base Operations Training untill her fight made her retire.
Mrs. Ward lived in Pacifica for 37 years. She is survived by her loving life mate, husband of nearly 40 years, Rodney Ward, who she met at her birthday party at Playa Del Rey Beach, CA. on May 29, 1962; two sons, Rudy Ward of Commerce City, CO and Tim Ward of San Bruno, CA; two daughters, Deborah Ward Crummey of Antioch, CA and Jennifer Ward Chelone of San Mateo, CA. She is survived also by eleven grandchildren: Jessica, Nick, Danielle, Victor III, Katie, Lillian, Jeremy, Amanda, Megan, Amber and Gavin; and one great grandson, Eden.
She is also survived by her Mother, Dorothy Thurtell Richardson and five sisters and two brothers.
