Calvin Russell Adair, Sr., 82, of Muncie, IN, died Tuesday, Jun. 26, 2007, at Brookside Haven in Muncie, IN. He was a native of Lawrence Co., TN, a retired machine operator and a member of Kingston Avenue Baptist Church. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. His parents were the late T.R. Adair, Sr. and Mary Sharpton Adair. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Inez Smith Adair.
He is survived by one daughter, Faith Ann Adair of Muncie, IN. One son, Calvin Russell Adair, Jr. & Sandra of Yorktown, IN. Two brothers, Bill Adair of Columbia, TN and T. R. Adair, Jr. of Pinkney, MI. Two granddaughters. Four great-grandsons.
Funeral services were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, Saturday, Jun. 30, 2007 ,with Bobby Adair & Bruce Reynolds officiating. Burial followed in Center Point Methodist Cemetery, Lawrence Co., TN, with full military honors.
