He was a native of Bulloch County and a member of Calvary Baptist Temple. He had been employed y the Coastal Highway District and Star Laundry. He had lived in Savannah most of his life.
Surviving are three sisters. Mrs. Lucille D. Durden of Savannah, Mrs. M. E. Ginn of Statesboro and Mrs. Chales Strickland of Pembroke; two brothers, James A. Denmark of Denmark, and Eugene Denmark of Statsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will e held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Fox and Weeks Funeral Home, with burial in Lower Lotts Creek Church Cemetery in Bulloch County,
