Electician's Mate 3rd Class Glen Stuckmann was electrocuted while working on a Coast Guard Project
while on duty in Honolulu, Hawaii.
He was born in Sheboygan, a son of Gilbert and Valeria Lemke Stuckmann. He was a 1980 graduate of Howards Grove High School.
An athlete, in 1979 he was named Most Valuable Offense Player at Howards Grove won the Central Lakeshore football conference championship. He was also named to the all-conference team that season.
Recently he placed second in the State of Hawaii's arm wrestly championships.
Before joining the US Coast Guard in 1980 he was employed at the Osman Cheese Co.
He wa a member of St. John United Church of Christ in the Town of Herman.
He is survived by his parents, two brothers, Randal and Wayne, all of rural Cleveland,; one sister Mrs. James Rautmann of Sheboygan Falls, and his maternal grandmother, Viola Lemke of Manitowoc.
