Mrs. Martha A. Crayne, 76, a life long resident of Morgan Township, died this morning at 5:45 o'clock at her home in Lippincott. Her death followed in illness which began in October, 1936. Heart trouble was the cause. She was the widow of John B. Crayne whose death occurred in 1917.
Mrs. Crayne was born at Lippincott, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Uriah Lippincott, and had spent her entire life in that section. She was the mother of four children of whom two, Ewing Crayne of Lippincott and Miss Nora Crayne at home survive. One brother, U. E. Lippincott of Pittsburgh and four grandchildren also survive.
