Funeral services wee conducted at 2 p.m. today for a Morgantown man, Ora K. Blanton, 66, who died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the home of a step-son, Marvin Barnett, Near Morgantown, near Waverly Rt. 2.
A farmer, Mr. Blanton was born Nov. 10, 1892, in Johnson County, Ky., a son of John and Sarah Alice Williams Blanton.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his wife, Alta Blanton, who died Oct. 1952.
He is survived by a step-son, Mr. Barnett; a step daughter, Mrs. Thelma Ray of Toledo, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Julia Colvin of Manilla, Ky.; and a brother, Sanford J. Blanton of Oil Springs, Ky.
Funeral services were conducted at Morgantown Church of Christ in Christian Union with Rev. Algon Leeth officiating. Burial was in Gardner Cemetery near Morgantown under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
