James Noah Adams, 72, Elkmont Rt. 2, died this morning at 3 o'clock at his residence after a short illness.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lenora Jones, Mrs. Ollie B. Moss, Athens, and Mrs. Hampton Haney, Bessemer; three sons, Walton Adams, Killen, John D. Adams, Vredenburgh, and George L. Adams, McMinnville, Tenn.; two brothers, Walter Adams, Athens Rt. 1, and Bill Adams, Athens Rt. 6; 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
