Ms. Lorraine C. Morton of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Saturday, October 11, 2008, in her home, at the age of 69 years. Ms. Morton worked as a secretary and a farmer; she was also a member of the 9th Street Church of Christ Church.
Ms. Morton is survived by three daughters: Susie Matthews and Stacey Bettis, both of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Pamela Allen of Van Buren, Arkansas; a son: Douglas Morton of Morris, Minnesota; her mother: Dorothy burns of Morris, Minnesota; a brother: Curtis Burns, of Longbeach, Minnesota; 7 wonderful grandchildren; 3 precious great-grandchildren; and many good friends.
The body was cremated.
A memorial service was held on Monday, October 13, 2008, at 10:00a.m. at the Ninth Street Church of Christ. Larry Bishop, officiated the memorial service.
