• ii. Rev. Eleazer Wheelock, b. Apr. 22, 1711, d. Apr. 24, 1799 at Hanover, NH, Æ 89; m. 1) on Apr. 29, 1735, Sarah Davenport, dau. of Rev. John Davenport & Martha Sellock, b. at Stamford, Conn. July 17, 1703. She d. at Lebanon, Conn. Nov. 13, 1746, Æ 44. Eleazer m. 2) on Nov. 24, 1747, Mary Brimsmade {q.v.}, dau. of John Brimsmade & Abigail Wheeler, who d. at Hanover, NH in 1783. Eleazer was the longtime pastor of the Lebanon Cong. Chh., founder of the Indian School at Lebanon as well as the founder and 1st Pres. of Dartmouth College at Hanover, NH.
• iii. Ruth Wheelock, b. May 25, 1713, d. at Windham Apr. 6, 1757, Æ 44; m. on Nov. 6, 1730 as his 1st wife, Robert Hibbard, Jr. {q.v., Hebard}, s. of Robert Hibbard & Mary Read, b. at Windham Apr. 5, 1706.
• iv. Abigail Wheelock, b. Mar. 3, 1716/7; m. on Oct. 3, 1734, Rev. Benjamin Pomeroy, D.D., s. of Joseph, b. Nov. 19, 1704 at Suffield, Conn. He d. Dec. 21, 1784 at Hebron, Conn., Æ 68. For 50 years Benjamin was pastor of the Hebron Cong. Chh. & was a contemporary of his brother-in-law, Rev. Eleazer Wheelock.
• v. John Wheelock, b. Jan. 20, 1719/20, d. nine days later Jan. 29, 1719/20.
• vi. Sarah Wheelock, b. July 7, 1725; m. on Dec. 21, 1742 at Windham, Joseph Bingham, Jr., s. of Joseph Bingham & his 1st wife Abigail Scott, b. at Windham Aug. 10, 1721 where he d. Jan. 15, 1792, Æ 71.
The descendants of Ruth (Huntington) Wheelock are impressive. In addition to her immediate children and sons-in-law, they include Col. John Wheelock, LL.D., of Hanover, NH, a distinguished officer in the war of the revolution, and second president of Dartmouth college; Ruth Wheelock, wife of the Rev. William Patton, of Hartford; and Maria Malleville Wheelock, wife of Rev. William Allen, D.D., of Northampton, Mass., Pres. of Bowdoin College and author-editor of Allen's "American Biographical Dictionary" published in the early-1800s.

According to NEHGR 71 (July 1917), as inventoried by Joel N. Eno, A.M. prior to 1917, Ruth's gravestone says:
• Mrs. Ruth, late wife of Mr. Ralph Wheelock, who died August ye 31st 1725 & in ye 43 year of her age.
On the day that Ruth died she was 42 years old, and Ætatis (i.e., Æ, "Aged," in the XX year of her Age) 43.
