A graveside service for Ranice Eloise Manier of Springville is scheduled at 3 p.m. Friday at Hillcrest Cemetery. Warren T. Sykes is to officiate.

Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Friday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.

Manier, 95, died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, at Henry County Medical Center.

She was married in 1971 to Lloyd Manier, who survives. Her first husband, Robert Malcolm Canady, preceded her in death.

Born March 13, 1913, in Puryear, she was a daughter of the late Sam and Vera McSwain Lafever.

She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

She also leaves a son: Max (Barbara) Canady of Cadiz, Ky.; two sisters: Mary L. Apuzzo of Murray and Dorothy Mock of Buchanan; a sister-in-law: Ann Lafever of Paris;

Three grandchildren: Cindy (Gene) Massie of Pembroke, Ky., Karen (Steve) Coffinbargar of Bartlett, Ill., and Debby (Guy) Snowden of Roundlake, Ill.; six great-grandchildren: Robby and Wesley Massie, Megan and Jake Coffinbargar and Abby and Max Snowden; and several nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by four brothers: Walton, Willard, Waylon and Winifred Lafever; and three sisters: Verna Eyman, Eula Kimbro and Thelma Lafever.
