Married Betty Ann Hansen on 01 Dec 1940 in Omaha, Douglas Co., NE at First English Lutheran Church. To this union, four children were born.

A beloved great uncle, who is very missed.

Leigh - Maurice Dasenbrock, 70, of Leigh, died Sunday at Immanuel Lutheran Hospital in Omaha.

Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Leigh with the Rev. Keith Pearson officiating. Burial, with graveside rites by the Northern Lights Lodge No. 141, will be in Leigh Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday 1-8:30 p.m., at the Rozanek Funeral Home, and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday to service time at the church.

Mr. Dasenbrock was born Feb. 13, 1917, in Leigh, the son of Henry and Anna Jenny Dasenbrock. He attended school at districts 45 and 20, and graduated from Liberty High School near Madison.

He married Betty Hansen Dec. 1, 1940, at the First English Lutheran Church of Omaha. He farmed in the Leigh area until 1956 when he moved to Omaha. He retired in 1982 and moved back to Leigh. Mr. Dasenbrock was a retired sales representative for Snoco.

For two years, he served as master of Northern Lights Lodge No. 141 - Stanton; past president of the Luther League of Nebraska; a 4-H leader, and served on the dairy board and council. He was a master craftsman in wood.
He was a member of St. John's Luthern Church at Leigh, and served as a choir member.

Survivors include his wife, Betty, Leigh; two daughters, Nancy (Mrs. John) Scheffler, Creston, and Susan (Mrs. Charles) Williams, Papillion; two sons, Thomas and David, Omaha; two brothers, Herbert, Columbus, and Elmer, Lincoln; two sisters, Mrs. Irma Luchsinger, Schuyler, and Mrs. Elaine Houfek, Clarkson; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
