Born in Laurens County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Arvel and Jessie Mae Wardell Lyon. She retired from Torrington and was a lifetime member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving is one son and daughter in law, John A. Bagwell and Deborah of Oklahoma City, OK, one brother, Bobby Lyon and wife, Ginger, of Laurens, SC; two sisters, Evelyn Douglas and husband, Troy, of Toccoa, GA, and Grace Nix of Anderson, SC; four grandchildren, Jason Bagwell, Hiliary Bagwell, Karissa Mills and husband Chris, and Benjamin Rhodes; and three great-grandchildren, Kaenon, Kaidence, and Terron Mills.
She was predeceased by one son, Cecil David Rhodes and one grandson, Christopher David Rhodes.
