Curtis L. Jepson
Curtis L. Jepson, 74, died in a Portland hospital on the morning of July 18. Mr. Jepsons, the son of Julius P. Jepson and Grace M. Lingle Jepson, was born in Portland on Dec. 5, 1914 and grew up and attended school in Idaho. After completing school he worked for his uncle. He moved to Tillamook in approximately 1936 and worked on a rock crusher. He was united in married to Arlene M Striffeler on Feb. 2, 1941 in Illwaco, Wash. He worked for Sunset Garage in Tillamook and later for K & M Repair until his retirement in 1976. He is survived by his beloved wife, Arlene, Tillamook; four sons, Ronald of LaPine and Dennis, Richard and Michael, all of Tillamook; three daughters, Karen Metcalfe, Newport, Jeanine Finch, Tillamook, and Teresa Kangiser, Portland; three sisters, Ora Marcroft of Shosone, Idaho, Ruth Scott of Prosser, Wash. and Lois Ashmore of Boring; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Jepson was preceded in death by one son, Kelly, in 1980. Private family graveside services were held on July 20 at the Sunset Heights Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Tillamook with Dr. D. H. Shearer officiating. Members of Mr. Jepson's family served as pallbearers and Waud's Funeral Home, Tillamook, was in charge of arrangements
