Funeral services for J.T. Henry, 73, of Sparta, who passed away Dec. 28, 1996, were conducted Monday, Dec. 30 from the Sand Springs Church with interment at at the Sands Springs Cemetery.
Rev. Jack Gentry and Rev. Elmore Judd officiated.
Mr. Henry was born Oct. 9, 1923 in Putnam County to the late Jonah and Alice Wilhite Henry.
He was a minister in the Upper Cumberland area for over 47 years. He was a World War II veteran and a member of the Johnson Baptist Church.
