Mrs. Ernest Hubbard, 50, a life-long resident of Monticello, and socially prominent, died in her home in Monticello Tuesday morning, April 18, 1933 following a two years' illness of complications. Funeral services were conducted in Monticello this afternoon with interment in the Monticello Cemetery.
Mrs. Hubbard was the former Marie Weaver, d/o George R. and Mary Catherine Weaver. She was born in Monticello July 23, 1883 and spent her entire life here. She married Ernest Hubbard on September 1, 1904. Surviving are her husband; a son, Norman of Monticello; and a sister, Mrs. Edna Clow of Omaha NE.
Mrs. Hubbard was a fine woman, a good mother and neighbor and while her health permitted, an active worker in the Methodist Church. She will be sadly missed not only by her family but by the community at large.
