Former Victor and Ladora Doctor and Druggist Dies. Victor – Funeral services were held in Mooreland, Okla., Nov. 7 for Dr. Mason K. Ingraham, who suffered a stroke on November 3 and passed away two days later without having regained consciousness. He is survived by two sons, Harold and Charlie, both living in Oklahoma. His wife died in 1943. A son of Mr. and Mrs. Mason Ingraham, he was born near Koszta more than 80 years ago. He finished the eighth grade of the rural school and then entered high school at Marengo, graduating in the class of 1883. He then went to Iowa City and in 1887, was graduated from the college of medicine at the University of Iowa. For a short time he practiced medicine and operated a drug store at Ladora. It was while he lived there that he was married to Allie Clark of that place. Shortly after his marriage he came to Victor where he continued his medical practice and also conducted a retail drug business. In 1893 he erected a new building for his drug store. It has ever since housed a drug business. For a time he was associated in the drug business here with Dr. A. F. Randolph of Koszta. In 1889 Dr. Ingraham and a number of others filed a petition with the town council asking for installation of the town waterworks. He later moved to Mooreland, Okla., where he had since resided. He and a son, with whom he lived, conducted a drug store in that city. A few years ago Dr. Ingraham returned to Victor and purchased the remaining stock of the McCabe drug store. He came back to Iowa last summer to attend the 60th anniversary of his commencement at the University of Iowa.
