Jane Phoebe Matilda Smith was born in Newtown (now Maspeth), Queens Co, NY. Her parents were Wells Lott Smith & Ida May Myers Smith. On 17 December 1905 she married Adolph Miller in Germonds Presbyterian Church.He was the son of Herman August & Wilelmina Pauline Klins Miller. Phoebe Smith Miller died from complications of diabetes and left the following children: Wells, Floyd, Albert, Harold, George, Adolph & twins Roy & Ruth who died as infants.
