Robert, of Deweyville, passed away Monday.
He married Laverne Thompson June 6, 1953 in Huntington, Texas.
He was an Army WW II veteran having served in Europe. He was an educator for many years for the local school systems. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, but most of all was the #1 Grandpa.
He was preceded in death by his parents Sol and Clara (Sheppard) Bean; three brothers, Lee Bean, Ollie Bean, and Bill Bean.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Laverne Bean, daughter, Sandy and her husband Bob Gammon, son, Steve and his wife Christie Bean, Sisters, Clara Faye Mitchell, Sarah Hutson, brother Jack Bean; three grandchildren Trey Gammon, Brice Bean and Kathleen Bean.
