It was originally thought that she shared the same grave (grave 1) as her father Timothy Dalton who died three months later; however, she is actually in grave 6, which is to the right of the grave of Genevieve B. Akerberg.
She was the second child of this couple to die in infancy. Her grave has no stone.

Gertie, the two-year old daughter [cemetery records have her as only four months of age] of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Dalton of East McKeesport, died last evening about 8 o'clock from cholera infantum. The child had been ill only two days. The funeral will take place at 2 p.m. tomorrow; interment at Grandview cemetery.
