Gertrude Dalton was the fourth child of Timothy Dalton and Lora Gardner Day. She died at the age of four months.

It was originally thought that she shared the same grave (grave 1) as her father Timothy Dalton who died three months later; however, she is actually in grave 6, which is to the right of the grave of Genevieve B. Akerberg.

She was the second child of this couple to die in infancy. Her grave has no stone.
