Possibly the oldest woman in McKeesport, Mrs. Sara Ann Merriman, who had passed away in her ninety-fourth year, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sadie Beachdel, 2501 Riverview avenue. Mrs. Merriman was born at Peters Creek, and had resided in this city almost her entire life.
She is survived by two sons, John of Connecticut, and Ovington of McKeesport; one daughter, Mrs. Beachdel, 24 grandchildren, and 30 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the home of Mrs. Beachdel Sunday at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev. J.J. Buell of the Westside M.E. Church. Interment will be at the Versailles Cemetery.
