Mrs. Marie Katherine Manewal Schad, 81 died yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William C. Strunck, 1400 Pirl St. She was a native of Germany, coming to McKeesport over 60 years ago. Her husband was the late John Schad and she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Albert Neher, of Glassport; Mrs. John Alva Brakeall, of Dravosburg; and Mrs. Strunck; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Beckman; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Strunck residence where funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. by her pastor, the Rev. Norman L. Kieffer of the Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment is to follow in Versailles Cemetery.
