Bonde Merrell Albean, 88, died November 30, 1995 at LDS Hospital of heart failure. His wife and niece were at his side.

Born March 30, 1907 in Mercur, Utah, a son of Olaf and Beatrice Scholes Albean. Moved to Garfield, Utah as a little boy, where he lived for many years. Worked in Garfield Trading for 35 years. Moved to Salt Lake in 1949 and worked at Emigration Market for 15 years.

Married Gladys May Webb June 25, 1936. Celebrated 59th wedding anniversary. Has been a devoted and caring husband to his wife during her illness. Always helpful to relatives and neighbors. Served his country for three years during World War II as a coxswain in the U.S. Navy. Enjoyed hunting, bowling, fishing, golfing and watching sports.

Survived by wife; brothers and sisters-in-law, Marie Sowby, Elden and Marge Webb, Ab and Evelyn Wilding of Salt Lake City; Earl and Norma Webb of Riverton; nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, December 4, 1995 at the Riverton City Cemetery, 13200 South 1500 West. Friends may call on Sunday evening, December 3, 1995 from 6-8 p.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive.
