MRS. WOODBURN, 89, EARLY 4-H LEADER, SUCCUMBS TUESDAY
Mrs. Amanda E. Woodburn, 89, died at 10:30 a.m. today, Tuesday, in the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. DeWitt Weller of Urbana route four.
She was born June 15, 1865 in Logan county, Ohio, the daughter of Duncan and Julia Dickinson. She was married in 1888 to James Dallas Woodburn, who died in 1937.
A member for 52 years of the Urbana Methodist church, Mrs. Woodburn was one of the first leaders of 4-H Clubs in Champaign county.
Surviving are one son, Dr. Ansel Woodburn of Urbana; one daughter, Mrs. DeWitt Weller; two grandchildren, Mrs. John Barney of Waynesville, Ohio and James D. Woodburn of New York City; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Charles Pinder of Tacoma, Washington; and a brother, M. U. Dickinson of Braymer, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Humphreys and Son Company funeral home, with Rev. Warren H. Bright of the Urbana Methodist church, officiating. Interment will be made in Oak Dale cemetery.
The body will be returned to the late residence at 11 a.m. Wednesday where friends may call until 11 a.m. Thursday.

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. WOODBURN ARE HELD THURSDAY
Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda E. Woodburn, who died Tuesday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. DeWitt Weller, Urbana route four, were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Humphreys and Son Company funeral home. Rev. Warren Bright, pastor of Urbana Methodist Church, officiated. Interment was made in Oak Dale cemetery.
Pall bearers were George Woodburn, Boyd Dallas, Roy Brown, John Barney, James Woodburn and Phil Snyder.
