Pvt. Clarence R. Angus of Glen Allen, Virginia was killed in Vietnam while serving in the United States Marines. He was on his second tour in Vietnam when he was killed in action. He arrived in Vietnam with Alpha Co, 1/7 Marines, and in December 1965 was transferred to Kilo 3/4. He was rotated back to the States in June 1966, serving with the 2/8 Marines and the Staging Bn, MCB Camp Pendleton, before returning to Vietnam. He joined Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 1st Marines on 19 July 1967. On 15 August 1967 Charlie 1/1 lost 10 men to mines. Clarence is honored on Panel 24E, Row 112 of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
