Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 24, Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will be in Belton Cemetery, Belton, Missouri.
Harry Eldon Beebe was born August 4, 1931, in Coldwater, Kansas, the son of George and Lillian (Prince) Beebe. He graduated from Coldwater High School in 1949. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. He married Delores Elaine Black in 1955. Following his discharge, he was employed with General Motors in Kansas City for several years. He later became employed with Lipton Tea Company in Independence, Missouri, until he retired. He was a member of the American Legion in Hickman Mills, Missouri.
Surviving are three sons, Kevin Beebe of Independence, MO, Keith Beebe of South Carolina and Karl Beebe of Appleton City, MO; three daughters, Karen Wood of Belton, MO, Kathy Reighard of Drexel, MO, and Kerrie Hartzell of Quincy, IL; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five brothers, Arthur (Mary) Beebe and Lee Beebe, both of Parsons, KS, Elbert Beebe of Shawnee Mission, KS, Clayton Beebe of Albuquerque, NM, and Clifford Beebe of Buffalo, MO; one sister, Dollie Olds of Parsons, KS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Karol Beebe and three brothers, Jerry Beebe, Marion Beebe and Hiram Beebe.
