HELEN L. LAIRD, 90, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2010, at Covington Manor Nursing Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Middletown, Ohio, she retired from Agro Enterprises, Bluffton. She is survived by her grand daughters, Danielle Gigli, and Tanya Lewis, both of Fort Wayne; daughter-in-law, Leona Hormann of Syracuse; great-grandchildren, Dustin and Alexis; great-great-granddaughter, Nevaeh; and stepdaughter, Sandy Laird of Texas. She was preceded in death by her son, Rocky Laird; brother, George Hamje; and sisters, Edith Gavin, Georgia Capehart and Dorothy Blair. Service is 2 p.m. Saturday at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
