James Alan Mason, age 23, of Snellville, GA, answered Jesus' call on Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Born, November 9, 1984, James was employed at Valor Enterprises in Tucker, GA. James was the grandson of the late Robert & Bess Mason and Grady & Vivian Fortner. Surviving are his parents, Bob & Kathleen Fortner Mason, brother & sister-in-law, John & Diana Mason, aunts, Rachel Fortner of Scottdale, Miriam Hartley of Snellville, uncle & aunt, Jerry & Cheryl Fortner and family; Chris, Tina & Jonathan Conner Fortner, all of College Park, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Avondale Pattillo United Methodist Church at 2:00PM with Rev. Dave Allen Grady officiating. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. Mr. Mason will Lie in State from 1:00 PM until service time at the church.
