Mrs. Evelyn M. Roche, 90, of 1205 Starlight Drive, died at White Oak Manor in Shelby. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto Rudolph Salefski and Bertha Augusta Wittek; husband, Charles Hansel Roche; two sisters and one brother. She was a homemaker and a member of Ascension Lutheran Church. Survivors include her son, Richard "Dick" Roche (Karen) of Thomasville; daughter, Judy Bridges of the home; granddaughter, Cheryl Miller of Charlotte; and grandsons, David Miller of Charlotte, Jeff Roche of Rock Hill, S.C. and Andrew Roche of Las Vegas, Nevada.
